We got up at 5am to get ready and out the door by 7:15am this morning, because I was going on the school field trip to Gettysburg Pennsylvania with 450 middle school kids from Potomac, Maryland.

This was a class field trip for Mikes son, so needless to say, I missed my pilates. But not to worry, I was going to be walking and hiking parts of the battle field, so I wasn’t worried.

So I packed a bag of my Fresh 8oz Juice of Carrot, Spinach, Celery for my Mid Morning Juice. Which I got to during a trip through the museum, where the kids had to fill out there packet of questions for a grade. FUN!!!!

Then we all got back on the tour bus for lunch…

30 Minutes before Lunch, I prepared a 1tsp of Barley Max Powder in a plastic bag and dropped it into my water bottle. Made a bit of a mess with it though, and not sure if I got the entire tsp. in there. ūüė¶

Lunch was a couple of apples and some trail mix I mixed together with a hand full of Organic Cranberries, Organic Raisins and a Flaxseed Mix.

Then we stayed on the bus and went for our actual battlefield tour of Gettysburg. That’s were we drove into the town of Gettysburg and into the many battlefield ¬†grounds. This was exciting, because we got out and toured some of the grounds and got the 411 on how these 3 days in July played out!

At 3pm, I was ready to go home and luckily that’s when our field trip ended and we started our 11/2 hour bus ride back home. When we got to the school, we had to wait for Mike to pick us up and he ended up getting lost, because it was the high school down the street from our morning drop off at the middle school. ¬†So we started walking to the middle school when we saw Mike coming to pick us up.

When we got home, I made my Mid Afternoon 8oz Juice of Carrot, Celery, Spinach.

30minutes before we went to dinner 1tsp of Barley Max Powder with 4-8oz of Distilled Water.

Dinner was at Wildfire Restaurant where I had the Greek Salad with a Vinaigrette Dressing and some Roasted Vegetables.  I did also manage to stay away from the White Wine with dinner!!!

I’ve decided to walk around the neighborhood when I don’t take a Pilates class… a keep doing the weights 3-4 times a week along with everything.¬† And I plan to do the best I can with my eating with this schedule, because it’s crunch time. June 2nd is just around the corner and I still have a good 30lbs to go.

I had a couple of gardening things to do in front of the house and while I did that, Mike cleaned out the cars. And of course, while I was on my walk, Mike made a Meat dish for his lunch. I suggested we sit outside again on the patio, and started setting the table for lunch. I decided to have my Fresh Vegetable Salad from Thursday Night and the Grilled Potatoes & Onions from Friday for lunch.

I did have a couple of servings of the Grilled Potatoes & Onions… simply because it was so good and I had a walk earlier.:(

Since then, I’ve been munching on some Nectarines and my Trail Mix of Almonds, Raisins, and Dried Cranberries.

Saturday night, we went to go see the movie “She’s Out Of My League”… Mike’s son wanted to get something at the concession stand.

And so¬†I graciously obliged and got¬†a little something¬†for myself too…¬†Almond covered M&M’s.

The M&M’s with maximum blocking power… I was bloated the minute Mike and I finished the bag off until tonight (Sunday).

But that didn’t stop me from getting up this morning to take my early morning brisk walk!!! I felt really really really bloated doing it, but I knew it had to be done if I wanted any kind of relief.

So… we ended up going down to Orlando for lunch at Bahama Breeze Restaurant again.

It’s turning into our Sunday afternoon thing of¬† St. Thomas Crab Claws, Breeze Salad with Cheese less Quesadillas and Chicken Kabobs. This time, we added Coconut Onion Rings to the mix (I was overwhelmed with the desire for them). Luckily, Mike’s son was there to help¬†eat the Onion Rings. I managed to eat only 3 of them… yeah!

Again, we ran into rain while we were down there, so it put a little damper on our shopping trip to the outlets. But I did manage to pick up some good buys and some red-hot ticket items.¬†Because of the rain, it seemed like we were on the road forever… and combined with all¬†that shopping made for some hungry bellies on the way home.

So we stopped off at a gas station along the interstate and I got some Trail Mix filled with some goodies: raisins, almonds, sunflower seeds and some other goodies.

 Turkey Cutlets :

Ingredients:

1 Pkg Ground Turkey

3 Potatoes

1 Egg

1 Onion

Tumeric

Pepper

Salt

Directions: Boil potatoes to a soft touch, drain and  peel then add into bowl with Chopped Onion, Ground Turkey and seasoning. Mix the ingredients together and mold into patties and cover in flour. Then place patty cutlets into Coleman Grill with Olive Oil until nice and brown.

Turkey Cutletsfor dinner and I just put out my Fresh Chopped Vegetables I made Saturday and put the left overs from lunch on the table to munch on.

Fresh Chopped Vegetables:

Ingredients:

Broccoli

Mushrooms

Green Onions

Red Bell Peppers

Carrots

Celery

Directions:¬† Chop up all the vegetables in order listed… and mix into a bowl. Leave the vegetables clean with out any dressing. Add your own at the table, I used Oil & Vinegar with some Paprika, Dried Onion, Dried Parsley seasoning.

It’s amazing how much junk you think you can get away with kids¬†and company around.. and it’s not something I enjoy admitting to either. Because just at dinner, Mike’s son was so proud of his efforts to help his dad with the cutlets he gave me one to try. So I had to try it, even though I didn’t want to.¬†And the M&M’s… that was just me thinking like a kid.!¬†Every time there’s someone around I do bad, as if I needed an excuse, because I can make bad decisions all by myself.
