I got up again for a morning Pilates Class… I prescheduled them so if I missed, I’d end up paying for it anyway. I’m not complaining about going…. it’s just a way of committing myself to get up and do it!

Breakfast was 1Tsp Barley Max Powder with 4-8oz glass of Distilled Water

Mid Morning 8oz Carrot, Celery Juice

30 minutes before lunch I didn’t drink my Barley Max!

Lunch: Supposed to be Strawberries…. instead I had a Wendy’s Cod Sandwich Meal w/Fries and a Lemonade.

Mid Afternoon 8oz Mixed Fruit Juice… I had a Fruit Smoothie from Smoothie King. It was all natural, no sugar, no powders.

30 Minutes before Dinner, 1Tsp Barley Max Powder with 4-8oz glass of Distilled Water

Dinner: Cucumber & Tomato Salad, Almost Turkey, Asparagus With Cream Sauce. I managed to make the Cucumber & Tomato Salad and Asparagus without Cream Sauce. I didn’t make the Almost Turkey though. I didn’t want to eat all that almond.

To wind up my slacker eating habits.. Sunday I kept the food intake to a minimum, knowing what I was going to embark on Monday.

After I missed massed this Sunday morning.. the three of us went into D.C. for some history and to enjoy the day. I walked down Pennsylvania Ave along the white house lawn and was taken aback by the traditional beauty there. Then walked across the street to check out Jackson’s statue in the park.

We headed over to Virginia to Tysons Mall to check out the new movie “Date Night”. It was a blast…. love those two actors, Tina Fey and Steve Carrell.

Then afterwards, we headed over to Olive Garden Restaurant for my usual Minestrone Soup and Salad. I had one serving of each and was fully satisfied with it.

Then for a little dessert Sunday night I made a

I’ve been feeling so much better these last couple of days… I must have over done it with the day at the Space Museum Saturday… and the stretching and weights these last couple of nights. My back is killing me again.!!!!

While we were at the Space Museum Saturday, we stopped for lunch at the indoor McDonald’s and I had a Southwestern Salad w/out the Chicken. Then we went to see the IMAX Theatre presentation of Space Exploration, which was great. Afterwards, we went home and hung out.

Mike made a Persian meal with Plums and Turkey Meat. It’s more of a stew and I ate that with some White Rice. For desert… I ate some Raspberries, Blackberries, Flaxseed, Whipped Topping and Leftover Ice-Cream.

I’ve been keeping up on my Carrot Juice and found a new drink Smoothie from Bolt house Farms Strawberries and Bananas. Tried some last night!

This morning… Sunday I woke up with throbbing back pain. After I took my morning vitamins and drank the Barley Juice. Mike made me another Veggie Soup: so I had some with Whole Wheat Bread crumbs.
Carrots
Celery
Cream Corn
White Beans
Barley

This soup stock however, was made with left over Turkey from last night’s meal.

As the day progresses, with me on the bed sitting on the heating pad, I’ve got my Carrot Juice, Almonds, Apple and Banana to munch on.:)
