After a weekend of a lot of eating and entertaining it was time to get back on the Pilates Studio horse and work it all off. But as luck would have it, this Monday morning I got up and made it to the studio in the rain to find a locked door. No one was there… and no one showed up after about 10 minutes of waiting around.

While I was waiting I thought about getting how I planned to get a workout in today and possibly start the 14 Day Hallelujah Acres Eating Plan to lose this remaining 18lbs. before my June birthday. But as it turned out, the day was not going my way.

So, I turned around and headed home to get ready for the day. I made my breakfast of 1tsp of Barley Max Powder mixed with 4-8oz of Distilled Water.  Then I made my Mid Morning 8oz Juice of Carrot, Celery, Spinach which I drank on the road along with a premixed Barley Max.  I drank that mix 30 minutes before we made it to the Olive Garden for lunch, where I had my usual Italian Salad and Minestrone Soup. I decided to get another bowl of soup to take home and eat for lunch Tuesday.

We made it home just after 4pm and I grabbed the Bolthouse Farms Vedge Juice out the refrigerator for my Mid Afternoon 8oz Juice. I ran out of Carrots, and didn’t make it to the store to buy more… thank goodness I have this juice.

While I was drinking the Tomato Juice I started getting hungry, so I started making a dinner of Green Vegetable Salad and Roasted Vegetables. The vegetables at the house were getting old and wrinkled, so I had to do something with them.

Green Vegetable Salad:

Ingredients:

Handful of Spinach Leaves

1/2Red Onion, Chopped

1Tomato, Diced

1Orange Bell Pepper, Chopped

2Cucumbers, Peeled & Chopped

Directions: Wash, Peel, Dice Vegetables and mix into bowl. Add Salad Dressing Balsamic Vinaigrette from Wish Bone.

Roasted Vegetables

Ingredients:

1Zucchini

1Yellow Squash

4 Red and Yellow Potatoes

1/2Red Onion

2Tbls Olive Oil

Corriander

Paprika

Dried Onion Flakes

Garlic Powder

Directions: Preheat Oven 450 degrees and Wash, Dice potatoes. Mix olive oil and seasonings and place them in a pan and roast. Once potatoes are tender, then add  Chopped vegetables and roast until tender and brown.

For an evening snack while I was watching Dancing with The Stars, I had a bowl of Stacy’s Pita Chips. I think I need to stop eating them, because I’m getting some soars in my mouth from all the salt.!!!!

I hit the Pilates Studio this morning finally,  with less leg pain. So I ask my instructor to give us more abs exercises because I’m noticing the flab on my belly needs managing.

After Pilates I got home to make my Breakfast of 1Tsp of Barley Max Powder mixed with 4-8oz of Distilled Water.

Then I made my Mid Morning 8oz Juice of Carrot, Celery, Spinach. I packed a 1Tsp mix of the Barley Max Powder with 4-8oz of Distilled Water, because I knew I was going to be out running errands.

30 minutes before lunch I drank my Barley Max Powder Mix and veered off the beat and path. For lunch I had a Fruit Smoothie from Smoothie King. It was Banana and Frozen Berries.. which I thought was as natural and raw as I was going to get.

Mid Afternoon I mixed an 8oz Juice of Carrot, Celery, and Spinach and also indulged in a bowl of Stacy’s Pita Chips.

Then we went off to the movies to check out Iron Man 2 and I stayed away from all the temptations. I’ve been drinking a lot more water and managed to do the same tonight.

Tuesday mornings are my early Pilates Classes starting at 7am. I almost missed the class because I ended up leaving the house 2 minutes before 7… so I got there about 5 minutes late.

Anyway… I burned calories and built some core muscle. For all this work, I felt like I deserved a reward. So against my best judgement, I went to Starbucks and upgraded my drink to a Grande Iced Chai Latte with Soy.

Then I came home to take a quick shower. And after the shower, I was curious to see where my weight was. I had some additional snacking of Stacy’s Pita Chips again and dinner last night was huge. It was like I couldn’t keep my mouth shut.

So, I got on the scale and I saw 160lbs… and thought WHAT!!!! And then did a little happy dance and jumped into the shower. I’m so thrilled that I am down to this weight, it really feels GREAT!!

Then I bounced down the stairs to the kitchen and made:

Breakfast with 1Tsp Barley Max Powder mixed with Distilled Water

My Mid Morning 8oz Carrot, Vegetable Juice. For the Vegetable Juice, I put together some Cucumber and Spinach and POOF!

Lunch: Grapes until satisfied

Dinner: Mixed Garden Salad, Tomato Soup. For the Mixed Garden Salad, I’m going to add some Green Peas, Celery and Tomatoes.

Mixed Garden Salad:

Ingredients:

1Avocado

1/2Red Onion

1Small Bunch Broccoli

2Cucumbers

2Cups Fresh Green Peas

3/4Cup Celery

3/4Cup Fresh Tomatoes

Directions: Chop celery, peel and chop tomatoes and mix with existing veggie salad.

Tomato Soup:

Ingredients:

3Cups Fresh Tomatoes

1Small Onion

1Ripe Avocado

1Tsp. Oregano

1Tsp. Basil

1Tbsp Lemon Juice

1Stalk of Celery

Celtic Salt

1/2Cup Fresh Carrot Juice

Directions: Peel Tomatoes and avocado, place in blender and puree. Chop the onion and celery, and add to the blended seasoning and celtic sea salt. Puree to desired consistency, stir in carrot juice just before serving.

THEN…. IF THAT WASN”T ENOUGH. THE BOYS WANTED TO GO OUT AND EAT, SO WE DECIDED ON NOODLES & COMPANY FOR DINNER. I HAD A SMALL BOWL OF PHAD THAI NOODLES WITHOUT THE EGGS AND PEANUTS!!!!

I’ve noticed in the past couple of days that my body is changing. It’s getting more tone and sculpted! And it’s making me feel great. I stepped on the scale before we left and it read 168lbs…

Since we’ve been in town… I’ve been to Pilates Classes and I’ve decided to go back to the basics and get out the “Recipes for Life” cookbook.

I was flipping through it this morning with my Starbucks Chi Tea Soy Latte and looked at some of the recipes. A While back, I tabbed every chapter and didn’t really use it since. But this morning as I was flipping through I was  taking mental notes of what ingredients we need to stock up on.

Because, I’ve decided to go back on the initial 14 day eating plan I was on, when I initially started the eating plan back  in September. I managed to lose a 5-7lbs. just from the 14 day eating plan.  And as this mission is coming up to it’s end date of June 2nd… I sure could use the help.

So I will go ahead and begin the 14 day eating plan on Monday…

Outback Margarita

Woke up and went for a walk around the neighborhood again this morning… I took a couple of days off monday and tuesday. So I had to play a little catch up with my exercise.

I did step on the scale this morning and found out…. I’ve gone up instead of down in numbers. I weighed in at 173lbs… I’m so frustrated and embarrassed about this it’s not even funny.  So unfortunately, I didn’t eat well and I didn’t care. Because I feel at this point what the heck is the difference.. I’m not losing any weight!!!!!!

For lunch I had some Stacey’s Pita Chips and Hummus.

Dinner we went out for Outback Steackhouse… where I had the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad and Steamed Vegeables. I asked for NO Cheese and Dressing on the salad and opted for Oil and Vinegar for the dressing. ALSO… I ordered a House Margarita.

Last night we went to the movies and saw “Percy Jackson and the Olympian Lightening Theif”. It was a cute movie… but more importantly I didn’t get anything from the snack bar at the theatre. Usually, during an outting I’ve been getting M&M Peanut Chocolate, Popcorn, or White Cherry Slushy. But this time, NOTHING!!!!

In fact, the only thing I ate was what we had at P.F. Changs… and then I snacked on some Stacy’s Pita Chips before hitting the hay!. Not such a good idea, but it satisfied the munchies.
