I’ve decided to walk around the neighborhood when I don’t take a Pilates class… a keep doing the weights 3-4 times a week along with everything.  And I plan to do the best I can with my eating with this schedule, because it’s crunch time. June 2nd is just around the corner and I still have a good 30lbs to go.

I had a couple of gardening things to do in front of the house and while I did that, Mike cleaned out the cars. And of course, while I was on my walk, Mike made a Meat dish for his lunch. I suggested we sit outside again on the patio, and started setting the table for lunch. I decided to have my Fresh Vegetable Salad from Thursday Night and the Grilled Potatoes & Onions from Friday for lunch.

I did have a couple of servings of the Grilled Potatoes & Onions… simply because it was so good and I had a walk earlier.:(

It keeps getting difficult to say no to sweets at the end of every meal. Especially when I start thinking oh, I worked out or did some physical activity to say it’s O.K. to the sweets.

Last night we went out to the Olive Garden Restaurant down in Port Orange. After visiting with my girlfriend at the Daytona Mall… she reminded me that the Port Orange Pavillion was open. Her husband was the engineering firm behind the project, so she got a tour of the place when it opened. So Mike and I decided to check it out.. and as luck would have it there was an Olive Garden.

I had my usual… Minestrone Soup and Salad with no Cheese. I did have ONE glass of wine for dinner too. But afterwards I was having a craving for something sweet… and ultimately denied my craving.

I woke up and went for a brisk walk around the neighborhood. It usually takes me about an hour or 45 minutes… depending on how fast I go. And I think length wise it’s about a 2 mile walk.

THEN…. Mike and I were set to go to the Farmers Market down in Flagler Beach. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the house to the Beach Market… and on our way down I decided to detour over to the Starbucks.

I know! I know!.. I had a craving that came over me and I indulged it. I had a Tall Iced Mocha with Soy Milk… boy did it taste good.!

Then we headed over to the beach and picked up some vegetables. I love coming home after the farmers market, because I fill up the basket in front of the kitchen sink on the counter with all the goodies and there are so many rich, bright colors to look at. I love that!!!!

This afternoon, Mike prepared a mid day feast for us. He made his famous Grilled Potatoes & Onions dish and then he tried a new recipe he got from his friend in California.

Saturday Lunch on LakeIt’s a Tomato, Cucumber & Onion Salad. And then we set the table on the patio and sat outside with a beautiful view of the lake behind the house. I sat across from Mike facing the ocean and saw a light blue calm ocean through the houses on beachside.
