Dinner @ CPK After Nutcracker

Cast Taking Bows

We didn’t eat much Saturaday, I did however drink a bit more than usual! So we were, needless to say, hungry.

At 10:30 Sunday Morning, we had some of Mike’s moms Vegetable Stew(Asha Reshde) in Persian. That stuff, no matter how many days later, is still unbelievably fantastic.!!! So that carried us through our performance of the Nutcracker. I’ve never seen a production of the Nutcracker, so it was great to see one of Mike’s nieces in a production of the famous holiday production.

For dinner, we all met up at the California Pizza Kitchen. I ordered, for the first time a Vegetable Pizza without the Cheese!!! And they had no problem making it for me. Plus, I had a Chinese Chicken Salad without the Chicken.

I have been slacking on the Juice though!!!! Can’t seem to remember drinking the Carrot Juice I bought at Costco… Will have to work on that!!!

Braving Cold

Saturday we decided to take a drive to San Diego with Mike’s cousins. We woke up early at 6AM, and started getting ready. I had planned on wearing my SKINNY JEANS I bought in Colorado and was pleasantly surprised when they fit.

Yeah!!!! I was on cloud 9 all day and I looked hot in my jeans. So I got a little crazy and drank a Marguarita with lunch, and two Bombay & Tonics later on and Montage Hotel Restaurant Studio.

But before we even got there, on the way down the 5 we stopped at a park and had a picnic of breakfast foods. I tried Mike’s cousins Bean Stew. It was like Mike’s moms Vegetable Stew!! Yum Yum!.. Then I also ate really well with a Salad, Couscous, and Beets.

New Lexus

Friday Morning we got up with plans to hit the first day of the Los Angeles car show. We walked through Ford, Lincoln, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, and Honda.

That was just one building of cars…. we still had three more showrooms to go!!! It was a whirlwind of chrome, muscle, flash and innovation and spent hours looking, sitting and oowing and ahhing.

We saved ourselves for Mike’s moms home cooking and ended up eating her Vegetable Stew again!!!! That stuff is sooooo good. I got the recipe and will be making it myself.!

For dinner we had Mike’s sister and daughter come over and they made a Rice, Raisin meal which was great.!
